We are looking for a creative, dynamic, collaborative teacher for an open position at our middle school. For the upcoming year, the open position is for 7th grade (Pre-Algebra), but many of us like to loop, so in future years there’s the option of many configurations as we have both Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry taught here. We’re a very small department (only four 7th and 8th grade teachers) and we regularly collaborate using the Japanese model of lesson study. The department has done lesson study for years and it’s a very cohesive group.
