You are invited to an open online meeting of the “Escape from the Textbook!” community, conducted as a part of the Math Future weekly series. You can chat with community members, meet new colleagues, and brainstorm future live meetings for the group.
My plan as it stands now is to start by explaining the idea behind “Escape from the Textbook!”, and to give an example of “escaping” from my own teaching. You will be able to ask me (and each other) questions.
When: Wednesday, March 23rd 2011, at 6:30pm Pacific, 9:30pm Eastern time. (WorldClock for your time zone)
Where: LearnCentral online room .
Instructions:
- Click “OK” and “Accept” several times as your browser installs the software. When you see Elluminate Session Log-In, enter your name and click the “Login” button
- If this is your first time, come a few minutes earlier to check out the technology. The room opens half an hour before the event.
